This craft normally takes years to learn, because most people learn it alone, guessing in the dark the way I did. With me beside you, correcting in real time, those years collapse into a weekend.
Day one takes you from zero to your first real blend.
You will gain complete command of your equipment: every control on the turntable and mixer, and why it matters. From there, I train your ear the way a working DJ hears, so you can tell when two records are drifting apart and know how to bring them back into time. Alongside this, you will build clean, confident cueing, finding the first beat instinctively, every time.
By the end of the day, it all comes together. You will beatmatch and mix your first clean blend, entirely on vinyl, with no shortcuts.
With the fundamentals in place, day two puts them to work.
You will beatmatch across multiple genres, learning how the skill adapts as tempo, groove, and feel change. This is where beatmatching stops being an exercise and becomes something you can use.
From there we move toward building a real set: sequencing tracks with intention, and layering in the technique that turns a mix into a performance. By the end of the day you are not just executing a skill. You are making musical decisions in real time, the way a working DJ does.
